I've often mentioned my current conservator/curatelle situation , without having full explained what it' s all about. Following is a brief explanation.
I have been placed under curatelle, against my will, to manage my finances & administrative papaersork. I am deemed incapable of doing either. Yes, I do now agree with these decisions, & will be requesting that they continue once my case is up for review in 2026.
Unfortuanely this system basically makes it impossible for me to save for anything I would like, or need. Similarly, I cannot use a card to purchase online; in fact I only have a cash withdrawl card. old school, pre EFTPOS.
So I remain cash-strapped & unable to purchase even the smallest of items online. I'm currently hoping to migrate from #gmail to #proton, due to security & AI traacking My only paymenet option available is to post cash to Switzerland; actually a method suggested by Proton. Dodgy! Little else is available to me. I am a strong believer in paying on &/or reimboursing people for their acts of kindness. For obvious it may take a while...
